Abstract
Heresy is one of the things that any mistake in determining its examples leads to irreparable damages in each of the two extremes; Not counting what is heresy as heresy causes the religion to deviate and ultimately deprives the religious people from achieving the purpose of religion; Also, considering what is not a heresy as heresy can lead to the emergence of extremist currents and as a result the removal of true believers. The research issue in this study is to find a solution to accurately and correctly determine the example of heresy; The research method is conceptual analysis; The more the concept of something is analyzed in a more precise way, the mistake in determining the example or examples of that thing will be reduced. Based on the conceptual analysis of heresy in the thought of Mulla Ahmad Naraghi, this research has verified the determination of examples of heresy by Ibn Taymiyyah; Showing the inappropriate development of examples of innovation by Ibn Taymiyyah, which is rooted in his tolerance in the stage of conceptual analysis of innovation, is one of the findings of this research.
