Aims and Scope

 

Journal of Seven Heavens is a biannual journal on the study of religions and denominations. The scope of the journal is the study of religions and denominations, which includes the following areas:

-  History of religions and denominations: Investigating the nature, emergence, growth, development, evolution and sometimes even decline of religions and denominations and offering scientific theories and analyses in this field.

- Historical geography of religions and denominations: The scholarly look at the geographical scope of religions throughout history and their contraction and expansion in different parts of the world.

- Sources of authority in religions and denominations: The analytical study and critique of the sacred texts of religions, and source study of the teachings, customs, ethics and even rituals of religions and denominations.

- Beliefs: The review, analysis and critique of the doctrinal teachings of religions and denominations in the fields of originology, teleology, cosmology, anthropology, eschatology, etc.

- Rites, rules and ethics: The analytical study and theorizing about the root of religious rituals, explaining the criteria of practical rulings and also expounding the moral system.

- Comparative studies in the above areas and presentation of analytical theories in this field.
