The research issue in this study is to find a solution to accurately and correctly determine the example of heresy; The research method is conceptual analysis; The more the concept of something is analyzed in a more precise way, the mistake in determining the example or examples of that thing will be reduced. Based on the conceptual analysis of heresy in the thought of Mulla Ahmad Naraghi, this research has verified the determination of examples of heresy by Ibn Taymiyyah; Showing the inappropriate development of examples of innovation by Ibn Taymiyyah, which is rooted in his tolerance in the stage of conceptual analysis of innovation, is one of the findings of this research. بدعت از اموری است که هر اشتباهی در تعیین مصادیق آن در هر کدام از دو سویۀ افراط و تفریط به خسارت‌هایی جبران‌ناپذیر می‌انجامد؛ بدعت به‌شمار‌نیاوردنِ آنچه بدعت است، دین را به انحراف می‌کند و در نهایت دینداران را از دستیابی به مقصود از دینداری محروم می‌سازد؛ همچنان‌که بدعت‌شمردن آنچه بدعت نیست، می‌تواند به پیدایش جریان‌های افراطی و درنتیجه حذف دین‌داران واقعی بینجامد. مسئلۀ تحقیق در این پژوهش، یافتن راهکاری برای تعیین دقیق و درست مصداق بدعت است. روش تحقیق، تحلیل مفهومی است؛ هر اندازه مفهوم چیزی دقیق‌تر تحلیل شود، از اشتباه در تعیین مصداق یا مصادیق آن کاسته می‌شود. این پژوهش بر پایۀ تحلیل مفهومی بدعت در اندیشۀ ملااحمد نراقی، به راستی‌آزمایی تعیین مصادیق بدعت از سوی ابن‌تیمیة پرداخته است. نشان‌دادن توسعۀ ناروای مصادیق بدعت توسط ابن‌تیمیة که در تسامحات او در مرحلۀ تحلیل مفهومی بدعت ریشه دارد، از یافته‌های این پژوهش است. https://haftasman.urd.ac.ir/article_229770_eac590f541699b79f4e8ab8e49c9a9ff.pdf
