Among these are various processes of interaction and divergence within the Sufi brotherhoods, their views on general issues of spiritual teaching, values and authorities, and a complex and often ambiguous attitude of the Sufis towards the political Islam. It is emphasized that Sufism cannot be opposed to political Islam; in certain socio-political conditions, Sufism itself can play this role.<br />Thу article is written in the framework of the system-communication approach, which distinguishes between political, ethnic, religious and other forms of communication. The authors focus on the local forms of Sufism in culturally complex societies, their prevalence in local religious practice, the real content, methods and forms of ethno-religious communication, as well as the problems of the interaction of various Sufi traditions with other forms of Islam, including Islamic fundamentalism. A study of these<br />problems shows that the processes of social transformation in the North-East Caucasus, which began after the collapse of the USSR, have probably already entered their final stage. نویسندگان مقاله حاضر با استناد بر جدیدترین شواهد تجربی درباره وضعیت کنونی سنّت تصوف اسلامی در شمال شرق قفقاز، مهم‌ترین مکاتب و گرایش‌های تصوف، جریان‌های تعامل و واگرایی طریقت‌های تصوف (از جمله با توجه به عامل فوق‌العاده بااهمیتِ قومیّت در این منطقه)، خاستگاه‌ها، ارزش‌ها و نفوذ معنوی مشترک طریقت‌ها و همچنین رابطه پیچیده و مبهم آنها با اسلام سیاسی را نشان می‌دهند. در این مقاله تأکید می‌شود نباید تصوف را مقابل اسلام سیاسی دانست؛ زیرا تصوف در شرایط اجتماعی و سیاسی مشخص، می‌تواند نقش مشابهی ایفا کند. این پژوهش با استفاده از روش تجزیه تحلیل سیستمی ـ ارتباطی انجام شده که متمایز از ارتباطات سیاسی، قومی، مذهبی و ... است. مؤلفان مقاله‌، اَشکال محلی تصوف در جوامع چندفرهنگی، برتری آنها در عرف دینی منطقه، محتوای حقیقی، روش‌ها و اشکال مختلف ارتباطات قومی ـ دینی، مسائل مربوط به تعاملات سنت‌های مختلف تصوف با جریان‌های اسلامی دیگر از جمله بنیادگرایی اسلامی را مورد توجه قرار داده‌اند. بر اساس مطالعات انجام‌شده می‌توان نتیجه گرفت جریان‌های تحولات اجتماعی در شمال شرق قفقاز که بعد از فروپاشی اتحاد جماهیر شوروی سوسیالیستی آغاز شده‌اند، احتمالاً وارد مرحله  نهایی شده است. https://haftasman.urd.ac.ir/article_218088_2d836fdad51584425922c202645394e7.pdf
