Due to its longevity, Zoroastrianism has a special place in the history of ancient religions, but this issue has made it difficult to access the original and comprehensive religious texts and to understand and interpret the surviving texts and to know the true founder. The time and place of Zoroaster's origin have been discussed and debated by scholars on this basis for a long time, so that every researcher has tried to find a reasonable solution based on the evidence obtained from Zoroastrian texts and its comparison with historical, archaeological and linguistic data. To identify the time and place of the emergence of Zoroaster. Zabih Behrooz is one of the Iranian researchers who has studied theories in this field. Although Behrouz's theories have been considered by some of his students and contemporaries and part of the Zoroastrian community in Iran, this article will show that the foundations of his theories are not subject to criticism and experimental truth and his view of the time of Zoroastrianism is not provable. تعیین چارچوب‌های زمانی و مکانی پیدایش دین‌های کهن، مبحثی مهم در تاریخ ادیان جهان باستان است. این رهیافت موجب شناسایی ریشه‌ها، خاستگاه‌ها و بافتارهای تاریخی، فرهنگی و اجتماعی دین‌های مذکور، آموزه‌های اصیل آنها و روابط و برهم‌کنش‌هایشان با دیگر جهان‌های فکری معاصر با خود می‌شود. در این میان، دین زرتشتی به‌ دلیل دیرینگی‌اش، جایگاهی ویژه در تاریخ ادیان باستان دارد، اما همین موضوع دسترسی به متن‌های اصیل و جامع دینی و درک و تفسیر مقبول متون بازمانده آن و نیز شناخت راستین بنیان‌گذارش را دشوار کرده است. چند و چون زمان و مکان پیدایش زرتشت، که بنیان‌گذار دین مزداپرستی انگاشته می‌شود، بر همین اساس و از دیرباز محل بحث و مناقشه پژوهشگران بوده است، به ‌طوری که هر پژوهشگری بر اساس شواهد و قرائن به‌دست‌آمده از متون زرتشتی و هم‌سنجی آن با داده‌های تاریخی و باستان‌شناختی و زبان‌شناختی کوشیده است راهکار معقول و مقبولی برای شناسایی زمان و مکان ظهور زرتشت بیابد. از جمله ایرانیان پژوهشگری که به نظریه‌پردازی در این زمینه پرداخته، ذبیح بهروز است. اگرچه نظریات بهروز محل توجه برخی از شاگردان و معاصرانش و بخشی از جامعه زرتشتی ایران قرار گرفته، در این جستار نشان می‌دهیم که مبانی نظریات او تاب نقد و راستی‌آزمایی ندارد و دیدگاهش درباره زمان برآمدن زرتشت اثبات‌پذیر نیست. https://haftasman.urd.ac.ir/article_158223_d364e9e7180959f526792a0e6569b7f6.pdf
